Day 01: Arrival in Cape Town (D) (The Cape Milner Hotel)

Arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Cape Milner Hotel for check-in. Depending on arrival time, spend the day exploring Cape Town and the Waterfront. Cape Town is regarded as one of the most visited destinations in the world with its Table Mountain, Cape Peninsula, Kirstenbosch Gardens and world renown winelands.

Day 02: Clovelly Golf Course (B, D) (The Cape Milner Hotel)

Clovelly Golf course, situated on the Cape Peninsula with spectacular views over False bay and Silvermine Rivers makes for a perfect start to your golfing tour of South Africa. Clovelly Golf Course offers a tight par 72, elevated greens and interesting fairways with natural water features all the while soaking in the spectacular scenery.

Late afternoon visit to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens makes for a well rounded first day of golf.

Day 03: Cape Town (B, D) (The Cape Milner Hotel)

The Cape Winelands is regarded Internationally as one of the best wine producers in the world and spending the day  traversing Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl is an experience to be remembered. Taste wines, cheeses and many other delights the area has to offer before returning late afternoon to our Hotel in Cape Town.

Day 04: Cape Town to George (B, D) (Fancourt Hotel) (430km)

The tour departs the mother city this morning heading east over Sir Lowry’s pass and through the small towns of Caledon and Swellendam arriving at Mossel Bay late afternoon. After a late lunch, make time to visit the Diaz museum before continuing to our hotel at the Fancourt Golf Club a short distance from the small town of George.

Day 05: Fancourt Links Golf Club (B, D) (Fancourt Hotel)

The Fancourts Links golf course is regarded as one of the most prestigious golf course in South Africa and is rated 38th in the Golf Digest US editions list of the 100 greatest golf courses. Designed by Gary Player on what was once an airfield and inspired by Links courses in Scotland and Ireland, playing the Links makes for something very special. 

Day 06: Oudshoorn Day Tour (B, D) (Pezula Resort Hotel)

The Outeniqua Mountain range separates the lush green tropical coastal area of Knysna and George  from the upper semi desert plains. Crossing the mountain pass, we arrive in Oudshoorn to participate in a full day of activities including the Ostrich Farm in Oudshoorn and a visit to the Cango Caves before returning to Knysna for the last evening at the coast.

Day 07: Pezula Golf Course (B, D) (Pezula Resort Hotel)

The Pezula Golf Course, designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfplan USA, makes full advantage of the seaside views of the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean. A par 72, the course caters for all levels and all range of shots offering a complete golf experience.

Day 08: Randpark Golf Club Hotel (B, D) (Fairway Hotel and Spa)

Early morning flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, transfer to our Hotel at the Fairway Hotel and Spa before departing on a day tour around Johannesburg and Soweto. Johannesburg is the financial capital of the African continent. With a population of 5.8 Million people there is a diversity of all cultures which is evident by taking a city tour through this metropolis. Visiting the Apartheid Museum and Soweto we get a better picture of what this great African city can provide.

Day 09: Randpark Golf Course (B, D) (Fairway Hotel and Spa)

The Randpark Golf course boasts x2 18 holes courses. Both the manicured Bushwillow and the Firethorn 18 hole courses are found on the property and either can be played depending on the day of booking. The ultimate in urban golfing waits to be played in the heart of Johannesburg and enjoying a late afternoon ice cold drink at the club house after a day of golfing.

Day 10: Johannesburg to Zebula (B, D) (Mabula Lodge) (220km)

Take a quick 9 hole early morning on own account before a late morning departure from Johannesburg heading north in the bushveld area of Bela-Bela, we arrive early afternoon at the Zebula Golf Estate.

Spend the day at leisure at the resort taking part in any optional activities on offer or treat yourself to a Spa before sundowners and evening dinner.

Day 11: Zebula Golf Course (B, D) (Mabula Lodge)

Set within the typical African Bushveld and surrounded by wildlife, the Zebula Golf Course is an 18 hole course that offers a little something different. Designed by Peter Matkovich. He followed the natural contours of the area and in doing so shows no impact on the natural environment, the course promises to be both challenging, playable and enjoyable for all levels.

Day 12: Zebula Lodge to Hans Merensky Hotel and Spa (430km)

Travelling in a northerly direction, our route passes through the small town of Mokopane and Tzaneen. Arriving mid-afternoon at our Lodge for the next two nights, the rest of the day is spent at leisure before an included night game drive in the Kruger National Park or a quick 9 holes before sunset. Should you opt for a quick 9 holes on own account its strongly advised to return to the club house before sunset as there are wild animals roaming the course after dark such as the resident Giraffe, Hippo and Crocodiles.

Day 13: Hans Merensky Hotel and Spa

The Hans Merensky par 72 championship course was established in 1967, designed by Bob Grimsdell and named after a German geologist that arrived seeking his fortune in 1904. The course promises to show its reputation in being where golf meets wildlife.

Most of the day is dedicated playing this one of a kind course after returning from a morning open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park. Opt in for a night game drive in the Kruger National Park on own account before settling in for the evening. 

Day 14: Hans Merensky to Mjejane Safari Lodge (345km)

A full day of sightseeing today taking a detour via the world famous Panorama Route. The route includes the 3 Rondawels over the Blyde River Canyon, the Bourkes Pot Holes and the Gods Window before arriving in the small town of Graskop in time for a late lunch on own account.

Continuing towards Nelspruit, we arrive at our lodge in the Mjejane Nature Reserve late afternoon in time for a late afternoon dip in the pool enjoying the sunset over the Kruger National Park.

Day 15: Leopard Creek Golf Course

The Leopard Creek Golf course located in the town of Melelane, is a par 72 course designed by Gary Player and all that separates the course from the Kruger National Park is the Crocodile River. The Leopard Creek Golf Course is the true definition of a wildlife/Safari golfing experience.

The day is dedicated to enjoying the last Kruger Park golf course. Arriving early afternoon back at our lodge, enjoy a relaxing afternoon before another open vehicle game drive.

Day 16: Departure back to Johannesburg (B, D) (Houghton Hotel)(400km)

Morning departure back to Johannesburg, driving through the farmlands of upper escarpment. Arriving mid-afternoon at our hotel, opt in for an optional 9 hole at the famous Houghton Golf Course before settling in for the evening and perhaps spending time catching up on our social media recording the epic 17 day South Africa Golfing Adventure.

Day 17: Departure

An included transfer to OR Tambo International for your flight back home.
