Day 01: Johannesburg – Hazyview (Gecko Lodge) (D) (400km)
We depart Johannesburg by 8am in the morning and head Easterly over the highveld and towards the Lowveld down the Schoemanskloof pass. Stopping for a quick break at Alzu, we arrive at our lodge in Hazyview mid-afternoon.
A late afternoon Kruger National Park Sunset Game drive is enjoyed before settling in for the evening at our lodge. The Kruger National Park at 19 485 km² is one of Africa’s largest game reserves and is home to all of the Big 5 with regular sightings of all the Big 5 in a day due to its high density of wildlife more specifically around the Skukuza area
Day 02: White River Country Club (Gecko Lodge) (B, D)
Early Morning Departure to the small town of White River only 50km away arriving in time to tee off at the White River Country Club Golf Course. White River Country Club is one of the most picturesque courses in the area and boasting an 18 hole Championship parkland course.
Day 03: Sabi River Sun Golf Resort (Gecko Lodge (B, D)
The Peter Matkovitch and Dale Hayes designed Par 71, 18 hole golf course set in the small Kruger town of Hazyview makes for an experience not to forget. As the 5618m golf course is set in Game country, there are resident Hippo’s and Crocodiles in the main water dam near the 14th and 15th hole.
Enjoy the Sabi River Sun Golf course for most part of the day before returning to our lodge to spend the rest of the day at leisure or opt in for an additional on own account sunset game drive in the Kruger National Park.
Day 04: Departure (B) (400km)
A leisurely morning departure back to Johannesburg via Pilgrims Rest. Stopping at Dullstroom for a quick light lunch, we continue westerly arriving back in Johannesburg late afternoon.
