Day 05: Bela-Bela to Phalaborwa (B, D) (428km)

Travelling in a northerly direction, our route passes through the small town of Mokopane and Tzaneen. Arriving mid-afternoon at our Lodge for the next two nights, the rest of the day is spent at leisure before an included night game drive in the Kruger National Park or a quick 9 holes before sunset. Should you opt for a quick 9 holes on own account its strongly advised to return to the club house before sunset as there are wild animals roaming the course after dark such as the resident Giraffe, Hippo and Crocodiles.

Day 06: Hans Merensky Golf Course

The Hans Merensky par 72 championship course was established in 1967, designed by Bob Grimsdell and named after a German geologist that arrived seeking his fortune in 1904. The course promises to show its reputation in being where golf meets wildlife.

Most of the day is dedicated playing this one of a kind course after returning from a morning open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park. Opt in for a night game drive in the Kruger National Park on own account before settling in for the evening.
